Mary Ann Ozier, P.A. was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee.  She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill where she earned a B.A. degree in English.  She later attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she received her P.A. degree.  Mary Ann is certified by the National Committee for Certification of Physician Assistants.  She has been a Physician Assistant for eight years and joined Boise Orthopedic Clinic in 2000.  Mary Ann's outside interests include road and mountain bike riding, cross country skiing, running, yoga and music.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Benjamin Kerns, P.A. was born and raised in Boise, Idaho.  He received a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and Sports Medicine from Eastern Washington University and a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Idaho State University.  Benjamin is a certified Athletic Trainer and Physician Assistant and has worked in health care since 2002.  He joined the Boise Orthopedic Clinic in 2005. Ben is an avid Boise State Bronco fan and enjoys hunting and fishing during his time off.  He is married and although they have no children at this time, he says they have a wonderful dog, Bailey.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Michelle Ardesson, P.A. was raised in Missouls, Montana. She attended undergraduate school at the University of Montana and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Carroll College in Helena, Montana.  She also has a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon.  Michelle has previously worked as an Emergency Medical Technician for five years.  She started working as a P.A. for BOC in 2005.  Michelle enjoys backpacking and skiing when she is not busy with her work at Boise Orthopedic Clinic.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Benjamin J Hochhalter MPAS, PA-C was born in Oregon and raised here in Boise.  He graduated from Ricks College and Boise State University in Health Science before graduating from Idaho State University with a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies in 2005.  He has been involved in orthopedic surgery since 2000 and joined BOC in 2006.  Benjamin is certified by the National Committee for Certification of Physician Assistants and is a fellow member of Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery.  Benjamin is married and has two sons.  He enjoys all sports, fishing, camping, movies, and playing with the family.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Darrell Krall PT, MS, CHT is a native of Ohio.  He received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University and a Master of Science in Exercise and Sports Studies from Boise State University.  He is certified in Hand Therapy by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission. Darrell has been a Physical Therapist for 18 years.  He joined Boise Orthopedic Clinic in 2004.  He is married with two sons.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Brooke Littrell BS, RT(R)(MR) was born in Boise and raised in Meridian, Idaho.  She received a Bachelor in Health Science with a specialty in MRI from Boise State University.  She is a certified Radiologic Technologist with 13 years experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.  Brooke has been with Boise Orthopedic Clinic since 2004.  She is married with two children and she and her family enjoy mountain biking, skiing, and fishing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Laurie Asaro, NP-C was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio.  She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kent State University in 1985.  She worked as a registered nurse in Maternal Child Health and Outpatient Orthopedic surgery.  Laurie joined Boise Orthopedic Clinic in 1998 as a Physician Extender to Dr. David Lamey.   She returned to school and received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Gonzaga University.  She is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner and member of the National Association of Orthopedic Nurses and the Nurse Practitioners of Idaho.   Laurie is a volunteer at the Garden City Community Clinic.   She is married to her best friend and enjoys outdoor activities with her two active young boys.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Emily Ruprecht, NP-C was born and raised in Boise, Idaho.  She completed her RN degree at Idaho State University and received a Master of Science in Nursing degree at Gonzaga University.  Before joining Boise Orthopedic Clinic in 2004, Emily worked as an RN in the orthopedic unit at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.  She is a Certified Nurse Practitioner and a member of the National Association of Orthopedic Nurses.   Emily is married, and she and her husband enjoy hiking, traveling and spending time with their families.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Connie Kniefel is a native of Idaho.  She received her Bachelor in Business Administration from Boise State University and her Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from George Fox University.  She is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Medical Practice Executive. Connie has been a Healthcare administrator for 16 years and Boise Orthopedic Clinic's administrator since 2003. She is active in the Medical Group Management Association and the Idaho Society of Certified Public Accountants.  She is also a board member for Headstart of Ada and Elmore counties.  Connie is married with two daughters in college and a son in junior high school.
