

Robert N. Walker, M.D. is a native of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is a graduate of Rice University and Texas Tech University School of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency and a fellowship in sports medicine at Vanderbilt University. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Walker specializes in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine and is a team physician for the Idaho Steelheads, the Idaho Stampede, Northwest Nazarene University, Bishop Kelly High School, PBR bull riding, and PRCA rodeos. He joined the Boise Orthopedic Clinic in 1993 and is married to Dr. Eloisa Walker, a pediatric cardiologist. They have a young son. Dr. Walker’s outside interests include gymnastics, photography, and the outdoors.

Ronald M. Kristensen, M.D. was raised in Marin County, California. He is a graduate of the University of California at Davis and the UCLA School of Medicine. He completed an Orthopedic Surgery residency at the University of Washington School of Medicine and a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Swedish Hospital in Seattle, Washington. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Kristensen joined the Boise Orthopedic Clinic in 1996. He has served as a member of the Physicians’ Advisory Council at St. Alphonsus RMC. He has two young sons. His outside interests include running, and water skiing.
C. Timothy Floyd, M.D. earned his medical degree at the University of Florida, and then trained at the University of Utah and the San Francisco Orthopedic Residency Program. He completed spine fellowships at the Texas Back Institute and Johns Hopkins University, where he currently holds a teaching position. In addition, Dr. Floyd was awarded the North American Spine Society (NASS) traveling fellowship to spine centers throughout North America and Europe. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and a member of NASS and the Cervical Spine Research Society (CSRS). In 2001 Dr. Floyd was elected by his peers to "Best Doctors," a national organization that recognizes leading physicians.

Jeffrey P. Menzner, M.D. is a native of Wisconsin and came to Boise after serving on active duty as an Air Force orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Menzner is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Drake University and honors graduate of Baylor College of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Utah and a Harvard fellowship in musculoskeletal oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston Children's Hospital. Dr. Menzner is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, and a member of the Musculoskeletal Tumor Society. He joined the Boise Orthopedic Clinic in 1999. Dr. Menzner has a keen interest in improving the entire experience of joint replacement patients from preoperative patient preparation to postoperative recovery and rehabilitation. The development of a hospital based joint replacement center has greatly improved the safety, comfort, and recovery of his hip and knee replacement patients. In addition to his surgical practice commitments, he has volunteered his time at adjacent hospitals serving on patient safety, orthopedic supervisory, physcian advisory group, and credentialing committees. He is married to Dr. Dawn King, a Boise urologist. They have two children, a young boy and girl. His outside interests include biking and snow skiing.

James M. Johnston, M.D. is a native of Greenville, Texas. He graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock and Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He completed a straight surgical internship at University of Oklahoma Medical College in Tulsa, an orthopedic surgery residency at University of South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile, and a sports medicine fellowship at Salt Lake Knee and Sports Medicine. Dr. Johnston served in the Navy in Charleston, SC as head of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the Naval Hospital. He was deployed to the Persian Gulf as head of Surgical Team 10 in 1988 and again to Desert Shield/Desert Storm. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine. Dr. Johnston has been practicing in Boise since 1992 and joined Boise Orthopedic Clinic in 1999. He is a team physician for the Idaho Steelheads, the Idaho Stampede, Meridian High School, and Boise Capital’s Soccer Club. Dr. Johnston is married and has two grown daughters and a son. His outside interests include bicycling, soccer, telemark skiing, and wine making.

Darby Webb, M.D. is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. She received her B.S. from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina and her M.D. from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C. She completed her General Surgery internship and Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. She then went on to complete two fellowships: the first in Orthopaedic Traumatology at Tulane and Charity Hospital in New Orleans and the second in Sports Medicine at Taos Orthopaedic Institute in Taos, N.M. In 2005, she had the opportunity to train at the Ilizarov Center in Kurgan, Russia. Dr Webb is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, a candidate member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, and a member of the Arthoscopy Association of North America. She moved to Boise and joined BOC in 2004. That year, she was voted “Rookie of the Year” at Saint Alphonsus Medical Center. She is a team physician for the Idaho Steelheads, the Idaho Stampede, and PRCA rodeos. In addition to her practice, Dr Webb is very involved in the Saint Alphonsus trauma care program. Dr Webb specializes in sports medicine and arthoscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder. In addition, her expertise includes complex orthopaedic trauma care including pelvis & acetabular fractures, periarticular fractures, nonunions, limb deformity, and Ilizarov technique. Dr Webb’s outside interests include skiing, mountain biking, kayaking, and scuba diving.

Christopher T. Lawler, M.D. is a native of Western Massachusetts. He attended medical school at the University of Vermont and went on to complete his internship at Baystate Medical Center in Massachusetts. He completed his residency training in emergency medicine at Michigan State University. While at Michigan State University, he volunteered extensively with the athletic sports medicine program at the university and had the opportunity to work with the collegiate ice hockey and gymnastics teams. He furthered his training by completing a fellowship in sports medicine here in Boise, Idaho where he worked with the athletic teams at Boise State University. Dr. Lawler has been with Boise Orthopedics since 2005 and has participated as a team physician for the Idaho Steelheads, Idaho Stampede and most recently the new arena football team, The Boise Burn. He specializes in the area of non-operative musculoskeletal injuries and fractures in both adults and children. Given Dr. Lawler’s diverse background in sports medicine, he also treats athletes with non-orthopedic conditions such as concussions, soft tissue injuries and skin disorders as well as other sports related conditions. Dr. Lawler has a particular interest in sports injuries related to football, ice hockey and gymnastics. As a former collegiate athlete, Dr. Lawler enjoys many activities outside of the clinic including ice hockey, downhill skiing and outdoor recreation including fishing and hunting. He currently resides in Boise with his wife, Melanie and their two young daughters.
