Boise Orthopedic Clinic started in 1958 when three local orthopedists joined together to form Boise’s first group orthopedic practice. The original office, now a childcare center, was on north 8th street. The Clinic quickly grew to five physicians with the addition of two new orthopedists.

When St. Alphonsus Hospital relocated to its present site along the I-84 connector, Boise Orthopedic Clinic, or BOC, moved to the Boise Medical Arts building on the new campus. This move provided more room and expanded facilities.

Over the next few years, new orthopedists with subspecialty training were added. By 1994 additional space was needed and BOC moved to its present location on the third floor of the Hartman building.

BOC has continued to grow, now having seven orthopedists, an auxiliary staff of sixty, satellite services at St. Luke’s-Meridian, Cascade, and McCall as well as the diagnostic services of x-ray and MRI- all dedicated to Excellence in Orthopedics.
